Gavin
McLintock ,
P.Eng., PCIP, M.Eng., B.Sc., President and founder of McLintock Media
Technology Inc., has over 30 years of experience in a wide range of
scientific, technical, management, and marketing roles.
After
starting his career at what is now Nortel working in semiconductor
research and production, he was a founder, in 1975, of TES Limited,
a vehicle systems engineering company where he carried out many technical
programs and developed critical management control systems.
In
1981 Targa Electronics Systems Ltd. was spun off from TES with Mr.
McLintock as President, to develop and market rugged, high-reliability
memory systems. Targa's products have seen use in the Space Shuttle,
in nuclear generating stations, in submarines and many other hostile
environments around the world.
From
1994 to 1997 Mr. McLintock ran a number of initiatives in broadband
networking applications and in development of the Ottawa-region digital
media industry for the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation.
In
1997 he started McLintock Media Technology where he has carried out
a wide variety of consulting and project management contracts. A spin-off
activity, LochIsle Inc. has developed web services for physical access
control and involved him in a wide range of security issues.
